Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan was gravely injured when an unidentified intruder attacked him during a burglary attempt at his Bandra residence in Mumbai. The assailant stabbed Saif six times, leaving him with severe injuries, including one close to his spinal cord. The actor was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where he underwent emergency surgery. The attack occurred in the early hours of Thursday, around 3:30 am. Lilavati Hospital issued a statement confirming that Saif sustained six stab wounds, with two being deep cuts. One of these injuries was perilously close to his spinal cord. A team of specialists, including neurosurgeon Dr. Nitin Dange, cosmetic surgeon Dr. Leena Jain, and anesthesiologist Dr. Nisha Gandhi, is overseeing Saif’s treatment. The Mumbai Police have launched an investigation to identify and apprehend the attacker. Deputy Commissioner of Police Dixit Gedam confirmed that efforts are underway to trace the suspect and determine the motive behind the burglary attempt.
