Amber Heard has seemingly moved out of the public eye following her trial.
Fans who were hoping to see Amber Heard return to the big screen after her highly publicized court battle with Johnny Depp might be disappointed.
Heard has relocated to Spain with her young daughter and seems to have left her Hollywood career behind for now.
She has even gone so far as to adopt a new name, signaling her desire to stay out of the spotlight following the dramatic trial.
After the trial ended, Heard, who is fluent in Spanish, moved to Madrid with her daughter.
Reports suggested she made the move to escape the backlash and leave Hollywood behind.
She was first spotted in a quiet Mallorcan village, where she lived under an alias before local media revealed her true identity.
Since then, she has settled in Madrid and, by all indications, has no intention of returning to Los Angeles anytime soon.
Heard has moved to Spain since the lawsuit.

This shift in her life is further underscored by her IMDB profile, which currently lists no upcoming projects.
Heard relocated to Spain after losing a defamation lawsuit brought by Depp in the United States.
The lawsuit stemmed from a 2018 op-ed Heard wrote for The Washington Post, where she claimed to have experienced domestic abuse.
While Heard did not name Depp directly in the article, he filed a defamation lawsuit against her.
In response, Heard countersued Depp for $100 million, leading to a trial that captured global attention.
Ultimately, the jury ruled in favor of both Depp’s original claims and parts of Heard’s countersuit.
By the end of 2022, it was believed that all outstanding settlements related to the case had been finalized, prompting Heard’s move to Spain.
A source close to Heard shared with PEOPLE in 2022: “She is focused on raising her daughter. She spends every day with her girl.”
“They stroll around, visit parks and enjoy family time. Amber is a great mom.”

With no future acting projects currently listed, it seems unlikely that Heard will return to the screen anytime soon.
The actor reportedly adopted the name Martha Jane Cannary, a nod to Calamity Jane, the famous American sharpshooter of the Old West.
El Diario de Mallorca commented on her choice of name: “The choice of this identity, which appears at the entrance of her new Mallorcan home, draws much attention.”
“Especially as Johnny Depp always maintained that his family trace their roots to ancient Native American tribes and that his great-great-grandmother was Cherokee.”
