Bollywood actor Jackie Shroff recently expressed his anger at the paparazzi while addressing the shocking attack on fellow actor Saif Ali Khan. Saif was stabbed six times by an intruder in his apartment, an incident that has left the film fraternity and fans deeply shaken.

At an event on Saturday, January 18, 2025, Shroff shared his thoughts with the media. In a video that surfaced online, he condemned the attack and dismissed rumors suggesting Bollywood is under any broader threat.

“Bollywood is not at any dangerous crossroads. This incident is unfortunate, but it doesn’t mean there’s a targeted attack on the industry,” Shroff said. Expressing his concern for Saif, he added, “I hope he recovers soon. Everyone should take care of themselves, their families, and ensure proper security at home. Building watchmen should also be vigilant.”

However, the interaction took an unpleasant turn when the paparazzi interrupted him repeatedly, shouting his name and flashing cameras in his face. This irked the actor, who lost his temper momentarily.

“Aye, muh pe kyu maar raha hai light? Shroff said in frustration when a photographer’s camera light hit him directly. As other photographers continued calling out his name, he yelled, “Baat kar rela bawa… Ye, haan chal,” before calming down and resuming his statement.

Meanwhile, the assailant, identified as Mohammed Aliyan, who used the alias Vijay Das, was apprehended on Sunday, January 19, 2025. A Bangladeshi national who entered India illegally, Aliyan had been living near Mumbai for months. Following the attack on January 16, Saif was rushed to Lilavati Hospital, where doctors successfully removed a 2.5-inch knife fragment lodged in his spine.

This incident has sparked discussions about security concerns, not just for celebrities but for the general public as well.
